Two days after 9-1-1 (9/11/2001), Pat Robertson, hosts the Reverend Jerry Falwell, pastor of the Thomas Road Baptist Church, in Lynchburg, virginia, on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s 700 Club discusses the attack:

The ACLU’s got to take a lot of blame for this.

· · · · · ·

The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this. … I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People for the American Way—all of them who have tried to secularize America—I point the finger in their face and say “You helped this happen.”

· · · · · ·

He [God] lifted the curtain of protection, and I believe that if America does not repent and return to a genuine faith and dependence on Him, we may expect more tragedies, unfortunately.

Question: Are those evangelical Christians who practice dominionism and militarism ever willing to consider that it might be their fault that God has “lifted his veil of protection from America?”  That because they have forsaken the Golden Rule, and the Constitution for the united States with its Article IV, Section prohibition against foreign wars, God has forsaken their nation?
