The Battle of Tora Bora concludes: After 11 days of fighting, United states Army General Tommy R. Franks (private mercenary), commanding the U.s. Central Command, fails to capture Osama bin Laden, as he “escapes” into Pakistan.

       NOTE: The son of Laden at this time was suffering from kidney disease, and was in need of regular dialysis treatments.  It is doubtful that he could have survived this ordeal without proper medical care.
