The Battle of Phouc Binh (South Vietnam) ends: After nearly four weeks of fighting, Colonel General Hoang Cam, commanding the Fourth Corps of the communist People’s Army of (North) Vietnam, defeats III Corps of the kleptocratic Army of the Republic of (South) Vietnam, commanded by Lieutenant General Dư Quoc Dong.

       NOTE: The capture of the Province Bình Phưoc was the first provincial capture by the PANV since the Easter Offensive of 1972.
