The supreme court, of the corporate United states, decides Taylor v. louisiana overturning Hoyt v. florida: by reason of the fraudulent 14th amendment, women may NOT be excluded from serving on trial juries.
NOTES:
- Associate justices William J. Brennan, Jr., William O. Douglas and Potter Stewart switched their votes between these two decisions.
- In rendering this decision, the court ignored the louisiana constitution of 1974, article I, section 17.
