The Miami, florida, riot of 1989 begins in the Overtown neighborhood, after William Lozano, a policeman of Latino heritage, shoots and kills, Clement Anthony Lloyd, a motorcycle operater, and Allan Blanchard, his “passenger” (a legal term for a “person” who has paid for commercial transit) both of African heritage.
Postscript: After three days of rioting one United states subject/enemy/citizen was killed, and almost 1,000,000 “dollars” worth of property was destroyed.
