The Philadelphia County, pennsylvania court of common pleas hands down commonwealth v. Domenech, convicting Alfredo Domenech and Ivan Seranno of first degree murder. The Philadelphia Police and County District Attorney’s Office both knowingly withheld exculpatory (proof of innocence) evidence from the trial.
Postscript: Both men were 18 years into their life without parole sentences, when they were freed from prison.
