The criminal court of Bronx County, new York dismisses people v. Marquez: judge John H. Wilson permanently bans Megan Teesdale, assistant district attorney, from ever appearing in his court room again for concealing exculpatory evidence that would have exonerated Segundo Marquez.
NOTE: Marquez had been falsely imprisoned in New York City’s infamous Rikers Island jail for eight months of pre-trial confinement.
Postscript: Teesdale was not punished or disciplined for her crime.
