While the United states Armed Forces are in Vietnam, “united in its determination to take all necessary measures in support of freedom,” the House of Representatives, of the confederate state of georgia, by a vote of 184 – 12 refuses to seat H. Julian Bond, a founder of the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee, for his opposition to the Vietnamese-American War.
