Adolf Hitler, dictator of Germany, issues the Treason Act, creating the National Security Court (a.k.a. “People’s Court”) to punish the enemies of the state. Proceedings would be conducted in secret, and suspects would be presumed guilty until proven innocent, and there would be no right of appeal to a higher court.
