Commander-in-Chief George W. Bush announces. in a televised address to the nation. that he is escalating the Iraqi-American War by committed another 20,000 members of the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries).  This comes after almost four years after Bush announced: “Mission Accomplished!”

       Postscript: Four months later another 500 United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) and other 15,000 Iraqi citizens were killed in the Iraqi-American War.

       The Central Intelligence Agency abducts Kamilya Mohammedi Tuweni, a 42-year-old Arabic-Swahili translator, off the streets of Malindi, Kenya, on suspicion of involvement with Terrorism in Somalia.  Tuweni had never been to Somalia, or had any connection to someone from that nation.

       Postscript: Two and a half months later Tuweni was released in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, after being transferred to Mogadishi, Somalia, forced to sleep on a stone floor in a single room with 22 other women and children, but was never charged.
