While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto CONgressman Don Young, of the Federal enclave of Alaska, during floor debate misquotes Republican (nationalist) President Lincoln, trying to draw an analogy between the War of Federal Aggression and the Iraqi-American War:

[CON]gressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged.” … [Lincoln] had the same problem this president had with a very unpopular war, the same problem with people trying to redirect the commander-in-chief.

NOTE: The quote really came from Professor J. Michael Waller, at the Institute of World Politics.
