Central Intelligence agents (acting under-color-of-law), at one of its “black sites” in Pakistan torture the children of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed of 9-1-1 (9/11/2001) fame, by placing them in cramped containers with insects to find out where their father is.

       While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan and the Philippines defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Jay S. Bybee, Assistant Attorney General for Legal Counsel writes a legal opinion titled “Standards for Conduct for Interrogation under 18 U.S.C. 2340-2340A,” (a.k.a. the “Torture Memos”) to Alberto Gonzalez Counselor to Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto President George W. Bush (having received an unlawful advantage of 52 ineligible Electoral votes) declaring that the Department of Defense (foreign military aggression) and the Central Intelligence Agency should be exempt from prosecution for violation of anti-torture statutes.

       The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducts a careless, highly publicized search of the home of Steven J. Hatfill, M.D., which disrupts his new position with the National Biomedical Center for Research and Training, at the louisiana State University. The FBI publicly named Hatfill as a “person of interest,” in its ongoing investigation of the anthrax mailings ten months previous. Hatfill has not been named as a suspect, nor has the FBI said it has ever uncovered any evidence against him. Although the real crime may be that he spent 15 years in Africa, some of which was spent as a mercenary, supporting the white-racist regime in Rhodesia (present day black-racist Zimbabwe), and that he received his medical degree from the University of Zimbabwe (a couple years after imposition of black-racist rule).

       Postscript: Ten days later Hatfill, at a news conference outside his attorney’s office, said,

       I acknowledge the right of the authorities and the press to satisfy themselves [sic] as to whether I am the anthrax mailer. This does not, however give them the right to smear me and gratuitously make a wasteland of my life in the process … If I am a subject of interest, I’m also a human being. I have a life, I have, or I had, a job, I need to earn a living. I have a family and, until recently, I had a reputation, a career and a bright professional future.
