While the United States Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Patrick Feaster, a Paradise, california statute enforcement officer (acting under-color-of-law) mortally shoots an unarmed Andrew Thomas as he emerges from the wreckage of his overturned automobile.

       Postscript: Eleven days later the quadriplegic Thomas (as a result of the shooting) died.  A year later Feaster would be sentenced to 180 days in jail for involuntary manslaughter.
