While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the superior court, of Santa Clara County, california hands down people v. Turner: judge J. Aaron Persky sentences Brock A. Turner, a former student-athlete at Stanford University, to six months in County jail for his conviction on three counts of felony sexual assault.  Prosecutors had asked for six years in state prison.

       Postscript: Turner was released after three months.

       The University of california, Los Angeles (a gun-free zone) Mainak Sarkar, fatally shoots William Scott Klug, an engineering professor, with a nine millimeter semi-automatic pistol and, and then commits suicide.

       Question: Did not Sarkar realize UCLA is a gun-free zone?
