While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Ron Hughes, an investigator with the michigan Department of Corrections, leading a team of state statute enforcement officers, executes a search warrant for an wanted fugitive, at the wrong address.  Immediately upon going onto the property of Erica Moreno and Katti Putnam, Hughes shoots their 15-year-old dog, Clohe.  Realizing the error, Hughes offers to pay for the veterinary expenses.

       Postscript: Nearly four months later, Moreno and Putnam had yet to hear from Hughes.
