While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the city of Pittsburgh, pennsylvania reaches a 107,500 “dollar” out of court settlement with William and Georgeia Moreno for a warrantless “no-knock raid (legal home invasion) by a Special Weapons And Tactics (para-militarized) team of statute enforcement officers (acting under color-of-law).  A few hours before the raid William Moreno was in a bar fight against an off-duty SEO.

       NOTES:

  • This award came not out of the property and pensions of the SEOs responsible for this injustice, but out of the lawful taxes paid by city residents, who did not do this.
  • There were around 3,000 SWAT raids in 1980.  Four decades later that number had risen to nearly 80,000.
