While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” John Ashcroft, Attorney General, releases Yaser Esam Hamdi, U.s. born, but raised in Saudi Arabia, a suspected enemy combatant, who was held in custody for three years—without having charges ever filed against him. But for the “privilege” Hamdi agrees to renounce his U.s. subject/enemy/citizenship, and to never return to the U.s.
