McAleenan, acting Secretary of Homeland Security, and William P. Barr, attorney general, jointly issue Executive Office of Immigration Review Docket Number 19-0504 and Attorney General Order No. 4488-2019, summarily denying political asylum to any foreign national (Central American) who travels through a third nation (Mexico) and not requested political asylum (in that third nation} before reaching the U.s.
