While the United States Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Sheriff David Groves, of Cherokee County, kansas orders the complete destruction of an empty house after having laid siege to it for 19 hours trying to wait out a non-existent fugitive. Groves has ruined Christmas for Nita Lane and her five children, as all of their Christmas presents were in it.
