Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Carter authorizes an emergency financial aid package for the Niagara Falls, new york community of Love Canal.  This will allow the state to begin purchasing the homes of 236 families who had to be relocated because of toxic chemicals underneath their neighborhood.

       NOTE: This cost is paid for through the coerced collection of income taxes, unlawfully assessed against United States enemy-citizens, who were not responsible for this tragedy; the Niagara Falls School District—a government protected education monopoly—which was ultimately responsible for the disaster was not compelled to bear this cost.
