James Earl Ray, an escaped convict, allegedly shoots President Martin Luther King, Jr., of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, in Memphis, tennessee. At the Federal Bureau of Investigation field office, in Atlanta, georgia, agents cheered King’s assassination, shouting, “They got Zorro! They finally got the s__o__b____!”
CONSPIRACY ALERT:
- Ballistic tests conducted on the Remington Gamemaster did not prove it was used to shoot King.
- Witnesses standing next to King said that the shot did not come from the rooming house, as was widely reported, but from the shrubbery next to the rooming house.
- Lula Mae Shelby, a surgical nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital, who assisted in the surgery on King, testified that during the operation G. Breen Bland, Chief of Surgery at the hospital, burst into the room, shouting “Stop working on that n_____ and let him die! Now all of you get out of here, right now. Everybody get out.” As she was leaving Shelby she saw two men remove the breathing tube from King’s throat and Dr. Bland place a pillow over King’s face.
Postscript: Over the course of the next two days there were riots in over one-hundred cities across the nation. During the rioting over 40 United states subject/enemy/citizens lost their lives, and over 59,000,000 “dollars” worth of property was destroyed.
