The supreme court, of the republic of california, decides Reitman v. Mulkey: via the fraudulent 14th amendment, landlords may not engage racial discrimination when considering applicants for their rental properties.

       NOTE: In rendering this decision the court passively mentioned the california constitution of 1879, article I, section 26 which forbids discrimination in rental housing.
