While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Korea, “champion[ing] liberty wherever the tyranny of communism is the aggressor,” Democratic (socialist/fascist) President Truman signs the Selective Service Act of 1951, lowering the age for military conscription (involuntary servitude) from 19 to 18½ years, and extending the minimum sentence for military peonage from 21 to 24 months.
