The Cold War continues: Dean G. Acheson, Esq. de facto secretary of state, announces, in Paris, France that the United states will provide military aid to the Republic of France, and their puppet governments in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, in their effort to suppress nationalist movements in those enclaves.

       NOTE: As an attorney (Officer of the Court) Acheson was ineligible to serve in two branches of government at the same time, according to Article I, Section 6 [Clause 2].
