The Fair Deal/New Deal III (1949-52) continues: President Truman signs the Agricultural Act of 1949, allowing for agricultural surpluses, generated by Federal price support programs, to be donated to poor nations in the U.s. sphere of influence.

       NOTE: This type of “kindness” only serves to keep underdeveloped motions in perpetual poverty as development of agriculture is the first rung up the ladder of economic development.
