While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the Federal court for the easthern district of new york hands down United states v. Nafis: judge Carol B. Amon sentences Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis to 30 years on prison for trying to bomb the privately owned Federal Reserve (central) Bank of New York.  Nafis had been recruited by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and supplied with all the necessary materials up to the bomb itself, which was inert.
