While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” judge David M. Byrn, of the 16th judicial circuit court of missouri, fires 70-year-old Sharon Snyder from her job as a court clerk for helping to free Robert Nelson, who had been imprisoned for a rape that he did not commit. For four years, Nelson had been petitioning Byrne for Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid testing, which was not available at the time of his trial in 1983. Byrne had repeatedly denied Nelson’s petitions until explained to him how to properly file a motion for DNA testing. Nelson was set free from prison two weeks previous.
