Armed Forces hands down Hutchins v. United states, overturning the war crime murder conviction of U.s. Marine Corps Sergeant Lawrence Hutchins III.

       Barry Rountree, Assistant Chief of statute enforcement for Winston-Salem, north carolina shoots Tamara Whitt in the thigh.  Rountree was trying to shoot Whitt’s passive dog, but missed.
