Republican (fascist/socialist) President Hoover—without a constitutional amendment—signs the Norris-La Guardia Anti-Injunction Act, prohibiting businesses from imposing “yellow-dog” contracts (pledging not to join a labor union) upon their workers.

NOTE: This act usurps the prerogative of the states to deal with the issue of labor unionization.
