[Our] people are not a warlike nation. It is a soldierly one, which means it does not want war but does not fear it. It loves peace, but also its honor and freedom.
—— Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf.
We are not a warlike people. Quite the opposite. We always seek to live in peace. We resort to force infrequently and with great reluctance–and only after we have determined that it is absolutely necessary.
—— Ronald W. Reagan, July 17, 1980.
Democratic (socialist/ proto-fascist) de facto President Wilson (having received an unlawful advantage of 50 ineligible Electoral votes), in his war message to the Democratic first counterfeit CONgress (elected in accordance with the fraudulent 17th amendment) claims,
The present German submarine warfare against commerce is a warfare [sic] against mankind.
· · · · · ·
It is a war against all nations.
· · · · · ·
What this will involve is clear. It will involve the utmost practicable cooperation in counsel and action with the governments now at war with Germany, and, as incident to that, the extension to those governments of the most liberal financial credit [with the powers of the newly established, unlawful privately owned Federal Reserve System of (central) Banks]. …
· · · · · ·
The world must be made safe for democracy. … We have no selfish ends to serve. We desire no conquest, no dominion. We seek no indemnities for ourselves, no material compensation for the sacrifices we shall freely make.
· · · · · ·
But the right is more precious than peace, and we shall fight for the things which we have always carried nearest our hearts-for democracy, for the right of those who submit to authority to have a voice in their own Governments, for the rights and liberties of small nations, for a universal dominion of right by such a concert of free peoples as shall bring peace and safety to all nations and make the world itself at last free. [emphasis added]
NOTE: As Wilson was giving this speech, he was holding, under his domination, the republic of Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and a myriad of various indigenous American peoples. He also claimed that “self-governed nations do not fill their neighbor states with spies.” At that time the United Kingdom had secret agents in United states whose mission is was to whip up public sentiment against Germany.
