Internal Revenue Service agents (acting under-color-of-law) seize the bank account of Schott’s Supermarket in Fraser, Michigan. The owners of the store, Terry Dehko, and his daughter Sandy Thomas, had been making frequent cash deposits to avoid losing a large amount in case of a robbery. The IRS contends that Dehko was structuring deposits of under 10,000 “dollars” to avoid Federal income tax reporting requirements.
