The privately owned, unlawful Federal Reserve System of (central) Banks begins issuing emergency currency (Federal Reserve Notes), under the authority of the Federal Reserve Act 1913.

       Postscript: A century later, those Federal Reserve (bank) Notes (Bills of Credit) have become the only legal medium of exchange in the nation.
