The Supreme Court, of the corporate United states, decides Ling Su Fan v. United states: Congress’ authority under Article I, Section 8 [Clause 5], “to coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures,” extends to the power to declare certain lawful monies (gold and silver Coin) illegal.
