The drone wars expand into Yemen: A Central Intelligence Agency Predator drone kills Jaber al-Shabwani, deputy governor of Maarib province. Al-Shabwani was attempting to negotiate a truce with members of the al-Qaida (Arabic for “the Base”) international terrorist network.
Postscript: Maarib tribesmen were so upset by the CIA attack that they attacked and shut down the Maarib-Ras Isa oil pipeline.
Question: Is it any wonder why they hate us?
