The International Council on Security and Development reports that 72% of Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban (Pashtun for “students of Islam”).  This is up from 54% 12 months previous.

      While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” In re (Latin for “in the matter of”) September 11 Litigation, judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, of the Federal court for the southern district of new york, limits the by tort liability claim against the airline industry by Larry Silverstein, leaseholder of the destroyed twin towers of the World Trade Center to only 2,800,000,000 “dollars.”  And not the 16,200,000,000 that it would take to rebuild the structures.
