While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the ninth circuit court of appeals hands down Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation v. Bush, reversing a decision by the Federal court for the northern district of california that had declared spying by the National Security Agency on U.s. subject/enemy/citizens to be unlawful “[W]e acknowledge the need to defer to the Executive on matters of foreign policy and national security and surely cannot legitimately find ourselves second guessing the Executive in this arena.”
