Judge Benjamin H. Settle, of the Federal court for the western district of washington, decides Watada v. Head ordering the United states Army (private mercenaries) Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, to halt any further prosecution (persecution) of First Lieutenant Ehren K. Watada, as it would constitute Double Jeopardy—which is prohibited by Article V of Amendment.  Settle also expresses his opinion that Army judge Lieutenant Colonel John M.
