While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Commander-in-Chief President George W. Bush issues Executive Order 13440 reinterpreting Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention of 1949, to allow the Central Intelligence Agency to secretly and indefinitely detain suspected enemy combatants for the purposes of torture.
