While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Henry M. Paulson, Jr., secretary of the treasury, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal says, “The worst [of the credit crunch] is likely to be behind us.”

       Postscript: Barely four months later Paulson was forced to admit that it was just beginning.

       DuPage County, illinois statute enforcement officers (acting under-color-of-law) arrest Jeff Zurawski and Sarah Hartfield for hanging a banner from the Great Western Trail footbridge overpass of Interstate 355 that reads “IMPEACH Bush and Cheney—Liars.”
