While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Commander-in-Chief George W. Bush—without CONgressional consent and in violation of the National Emergency Act—issues National Security Presidential Directive 51 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20, allowing the President to unilaterally declare a national emergency, and operate the legislative and judicial functions of the Federal government under the purview of the executive branch. And appointing the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism (a position that does not require senate confirmation) as National Continuity Coordinator: dictator over all state, municipal and tribal governments, as well critical private sector entities—in the event of a declared presidential emergency, in an effort to preserve “enduring Constitutional government.”
Question: How is establishing a dictatorship preserving the principles of limited government?
