United states Army General Bryan D. Brown (private mercenary), commander of Headquarters, United States Special Operations Command, orders his troops to discard their privately purchased body armor—some costing as much as 6,000 “dollars” apiece, lest they face disciplinary action.  If any Soldier under his command is killed wearing body armor that was not government issued, the beneficiaries would forfeit the 400,000 “dollar” Federally subsidized Serviceman’s Group Life Insurance death benefits.
