United states Army First Lieutenant William “Eddie” Rebrook, IV, (private mercenary), of the First Calvary Division, is wounded by an exploding roadside bomb during the Iraqi-American War.
Postscript: Upon being discharged, for his injuries, Rebrook was billed 632 “dollars” for losing the body armor that had been issued to him, which he was wearing at the time of the explosion. The physician treating Rebrook ordered that the vest be destroyed, as a biohazard, because it was soaked in blood.
