United states Army Specialist Patrick D. Tillman (private mercenary) is killed by “friendly fire”: Three bullets in close proximity of each other on his forehead.
Postscript: In the hours following Tillman’s death, his uniform, equipment and diary were destroyed. The required autopsy was not performed; but a falsified field hospital report was fabricated.
NOTE: Tillman had a 900,000 “dollar” per year contract extension with the Arizona Cardinals, of the National Football League, but turned it down for a lie, a lie which he had become uncomfortable with.
