While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, the Philippines and west Africa defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the ostensibly free-market Republican (fascist/socialist) de facto President George W. Bush (having received an unlawful advantage of 52 ineligible Electoral votes) signs the Medicare Modernization Act, the greatest expansion in the Medicare “entitlement” program since its creation four decades previous. The primary special interests supporting the MMA was the pharmaceutical industry, which anticipated windfall profits from Federally subsidized prescription drugs.
NOTES:
- The MMA was expected to Cost around 40,000,000 “dollars” in 2014. In actuality, the act Cost 70,000,000 “dollars.”
