The circuit court, of Oakland County, michigan, decides people v. Kevorkian: the jury finds Jack Kevorkian, a retired pathologist, not guilty of physician assisted suicide, in the deaths of Sherry Miller who was dying of multiple sclerosis, and Marjorie Wantz who was suffering with severe pelvic pain.  This is the third time in which he has been acquitted through Jury Nullification (The act of a fully informed Jury, empowered through self-knowledge, to judge the decrees and the evidence in question).
