Central Intelligence agents conduct a raid on the Faisalabad, Pakistan safe house of Abu Zubayda, shooting him three times.

       Postscript: Zubayda disappeared into the CIA’s world-wide gulag archipelago of secret prisons.  under routine interrogation Zubayda gave up the names of several members of the Al-Qaida (Arabic for “the Base) international terrorist network.  But under “enhanced” interrogation (torture) no useful information was obtained.
