While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan and the Philippines defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” the supreme court, of the Federal enclave of Ohio, hands down Middletown (Ohio) v. Flinchum, extending the doctrine of “Hot Pursuit” (into one’s residence without a warrant) from felonies (a year or more in state prison) to misdemeanors (a year or less in county jail).
