While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are in Afghanistan and the Philippines defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Douglas J. Feith, Under Secretary of Defense (foreign military aggression) for Policy, announces to the national media that the continued existence of the Office of Strategic Influence is sander review.  The purpose of the OSI is to write stories for release by third parties that are favorable to the U.s. Armed Forces.

       Postscript: The next month, Donald H. Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense terminated OSI.
