While the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) are stationed at 737 bases, in 130 nations around the world, defending “all freedom-loving people everywhere in the world,” Thomas Pettis, an off-duty Hillsborough County, florida statute enforcement officer (acting under-color-of-law) rear ends a Honda sedan registered to Evan Rees, a 44-year-old biology teacher, from Sebring, florida. After a heated argument Pettis physically assaults Rees, and then draws a Glock semi-automatic pistol on him.
Postscript: Although the 55-year-old Pettis was retired from the Hillsborough County SE department, he was not charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
