The Iraqi Civil War continues: A series of six car bombs planted by the al-Qaida (Arabic for “the Base”) international terrorist network explodes, in the Shi’ite (partisans of Ali) Moslem neighborhood of Sadr City, Baghdad, killing 138 Iraqi citizens.
NOTE: Meanwhile only one member of the United states Armed Forces (private mercenaries) lost his life in combat.
